We are a warm and welcoming liberal religious congregation located in downtown Kenosha, Wisconsin. We are religious seekers of truth. In our congregation you will find humanists, Christians, atheists, Buddhists, agnostics, earth-centered folk, theists, pagans, the list is long! We are a community of diverse beliefs united by our Unitarian Universalist faith and our common desire to make this world a better place.

How about you? Would you like a church:

  • Where you can question?

  • Where your insights and experience are valued?

  • Where people are actively working for justice in this world?

  • Where there is compassion, equity, and love for all genders, races, ethnicities and sexual orientations?

  • Where your children can grow ethically and spiritually?

  • Where you can enjoy weekly fellowship with others and form enduring friendships?

Our Mission

We, the members of Bradford Community Church Unitarian Universalist, provide a place for Sunday worship and religious education for all ages.

To all members, friends, the unchurched, and the religiously disenfranchised, we offer a sense of family and community, acceptance and understanding.

We promote individual spiritual growth, freedom of religious belief, and respect for the natural world of which we are a part.

To these ends, we provide both pastoral counseling and group support to meet individual needs.

We seek to be socially responsible in our community and in the world at large.

We are ready to promote causes in our pursuit of a just and peaceful world, even thought they may be unpopular.

We strive to be ever more visible as a liberal religious alternative in our community and invite others to join in our free search for truth.

We are committed to being a "WELCOMING CONGREGATION."

Recognizing that we are truly one people, all with inherent worth and dignity, this Unitarian Universalist congregation celebrates the presence and participation of people of all racial and religious backgrounds and all gender and affectional orientations.

We are committed to having a "GREEN SANCTUARY."

Recognizing that we are only one part of the interdependent web of all life, we have pledged to be more intentional stewards of the environment through our choices and use of resources.  A Green Sanctuary is a congregation that lives out its commitment to the Earth by creating a sustainable life style for its members as individuals and as a faith community. Sustainable living is not about our material comfort (though these choices are an important part of the overall life style); it is about choosing to live in a way that nurtures life, builds relationships, and rejects material consumption as the sole determinant of happiness.
